Copy Editing/Line Editing
Honing your writing on the sentence level, fixing grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Copy editing/line editing also ensures the consistency of voice, tone, character, place, and narrative. My copy edits are delivered as track changes in a Word, Google, or similar document.
Developmental Editing
Looking at the bigger picture of narrative, character development, and pacing. My developmental edits include an annotated draft/manuscript, a follow-up meeting with the writer, and an editorial letter that lays out:

Proofreading/Formatting
The final sweep, going word by word and page by page to ensure there are no redundancies or missing sections of text, fix page numbering and formatting, and correct small errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. My proofreading is delivered as track changes in a Word, Google, or similar document.
I can also format your story, essay, manuscript, or zine from scratch or based on a provided template. Files can be delivered in Word, InDesign, or Canva.
